some newbies
(well, new to you.)
Life does very funny things to you. Life has mellowed me. There were times when I was a little brash. It was fun to surprise people, maybe even jar them a little bit, but I had that feeling at that time that any change is progress. I always want to be out there dancing on the edge. I think if you don’t feel that strongly, you should be selling shoes or something.

the notes I take are spastic-typed salvation quips, splintered wood & outlook edges drowning in swollen, swallowed breathes dense as multiple moments held improperly at once, absorbed through pea-paired eyes that deny mind/heart disjunction, despite sleeping shapeless in its rift.
this is a messy job, being an artist.
You can’t just bloody fail. You’ve got to learn how to be a magnificent, brilliant, flamboyant failure rather than any kind of benign success.
